Hello! I’m Luca Marchesani. I’ve called Anchorage my home since I was three and lived on Southside since I was twelve. I believe that Anchorage is in a critical moment. With oil revenue decreasing every year, state funding has withered and the city as been left in a budget squeeze that stretches our city’s resources and sapped the life out of much needed programs.
Anchorage needs a new direction. We need to work together to find a future for Anchorage where everyone can afford a home, food, and can afford to participate in the Alaskan experiment. We need to regulate AI, kickstart housing creation, and work to actually fix the unhoused crisis through government action.
